Ok so. this is a bit of a strange climbing area.
My fellow history (and francophone) lovers might know the little town of Moha, with its medieval castle.
This castle, first mentioned in 1031 as a line of defence against the Vikings, is perched on a cliff overlooking the river Mehaigne and its valley.
It lied dormant and in ruin after its siege in 1376 until in the 1980's when ruin was being restored and some bolters found potential in the short and steep erroded cliff.
Ever since then the climbing area of Moha was born. Short, small and steep, the dream for most indoor climbers wanting to go outside for the first time.
Moha is not the biggest area, but if you are strong enough, you can try to send all routes in the weekend.
Also keep in mind that this is a weekend in Belgium thus a klimjaarkaart is required to climb.
